Fyrdsman was created in the early spring of 2008 by Tim Shaw, who had the vision of creating epic black metal with folkish and nostalgic themes. Although Tim Shaw is currently the sole member of the band, there are intentions to bring some more members into the fold for live purposes, in the not too distant future.
